Steering noise
I have a 1998 Regal with over 150,000 miles (not sure of exact mileage because odometer quit working). When I turn slightly to the right while driving there is a knocking noise in the front end, I can also feel it in the steering wheel. Any ideas on what might be causing this?
Also, to fix the odometer does the entire instrument cluster have to be changed? Thanks in advance. Dan |

Re: Steering noise
Welcome to AF.
On the IP Cluster yes. On the front end noise it could be any suspension, steering or drivetrain component. Tie rods, control arm bushings, upper strut mount, CV joints or hub/bearings, etc. Also, check the disc brake components and make sure the caliper mounting brackets and claipers are secure.
