Question Performance Parts

I own a 1998 Lumina LTZ it has the 3800 series II (3.8L V6) 4 spd Auto on the floor (side console) I'm looking to REALLY mod it out!! I've found a site; http://www.thrashercharged.com As you can see they have performance parts for GTP's. I've e-mailed this site and they said that i can perchase the parts from them and they should fit. This is a list of things that i want to do to my car I just need to know if any of this is do-able.

Bored and sleeved to original size
stock pistons, crank, and piston rods
3angle valve, ported, pollished
DBL coil titanium valve spring, bigger valves, titanium pushrods, hi-perf. roller rockers
Crane Cam w/ matching hi-performance Hydrolic Lifters
Super charger??? not sure what brand ( 10-15 PSI)
Intercooler
Larger Throttle body and intake....
hi-performance / larger fuel injectors and larger fuel line
newer headers with 2 1/4" TRUE dual Exhuast coming back to TWO Borla Mufflers.

Ok now the web site that I posted up top sells a shift kit for my trany BUT, here is the ultimate question that I need answered!.......
In 1991 Pontiac put out the Grand Am GT with a 5spd manual with a 3.1 liter engin. I must know, it is posible to cut my firewall, mount a clutch and do away with my current floor auto shifter and install a short shifter 5spd. Please reply to this with what ever you think!

Hi Mitch, I too have a Lumina LTZ. I also would like to increase its performance but have not had much luck in finding companies that make parts for it. As to your question, I don't think a 3.1 tranny will bolt up to the 3.8. I could be wrong, but the blocks are different.

Hmm sorry i didn't view this post sooner... it was one of my first posts when i started here, and i didn't think that anyone would check it out... but...i have learned ALOT since i made that post.. and i found that;

There is NOT a 5 speed that will fit the 3800

You can do a 3.4L DOHC swap that, stock, puts out almost just as much HP has the 3.8L and DOES come in a optional 5spd Manual Transmition,(was the GTP back in 93 or 94 i beleave before the 'gtp' was a Supercharged 3800) and alot of mods CAN be done to tha engin as well as the 3.8L.

Of course, like i new before, ever engin can have some form of forced induction, if you want to travel that road *at high speeds mind you *
so the 3.4LDOHC is no exeption!

Lastly, get head! No not the head that your 2dolla hooker, or your fine ass asian G/F gives you! But the head work that can be done to *again* ANY vehicle.... port,pollish,3angle valve job, bor and fit larger valves, dbl titanium springs, ROLLER rockerarms, new pushers for your head and new shuvers for you Pistons... you can get a full unorthidox racing pully for most cars too...and fully ballace your crank and you have a complete engin...

Forgot to mention, Cams, cams, cams... Cranecams.com all i got so say about Cams...

NOW,lastly, there is several ways to knock down that 1/4 mile time with simple shit, first, get AAA, then dump your 50mile blow-out spare, and your 'gettin-your-head-crushed' jack that already DOESN'T work.. notice your "dual exaust" :finger: f*ck it!:finger: the one on the left is NON-funtional..chop and patch (with a piece of metal and a welder, we dont need more noisy ass cars) there goes about 80pounds off the...ass of your car... litterally

ok well now that i have told you both how to completely F'up you Lumina much how i'm currently working on mine.. HAVE FUN!
