Does D16A8/9 DOHC heads fit SOHC D series block?
i saw a post on another forum but it got no reply. I've been told that almost all D series engines have swappable heads, but does the DOHC head fit on a SOHC d series block?

In theory they should...as a JDM ZC (EDM d16a8/9) is basically a USDM d16a6 bottom end with a DOHC head. However, there could be minor differences in the water jacket, oil holes, and bolt patterns - something to think about...
