Mixed Drink Database

Have you had a drink that you really liked? There are online mixed drink databases where you can find the recipe, but i've decided to make an AF chapter, where you guys get to post up some drinks you like. doesn't have to be your favorite, just something you enjoyed recently.
(also, i want this to be sort of a recipe database, so try and keep the same format?)

Here's two drinks right now to get ready for The Holidays!:

Hot Buttered Rum

1 oz. light rum
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp butter
1 - 4 cloves
1 cup boiling water

Add sugar, butter, and cloves in a mug. Pour the rum and fill the mug with boiling water.

Better Than Sex Hot Cocoa

2 - 4 shots rum
1 pk Cocoa Mix
1 cup boiling water

Put cocoa mix in a mug, add hot water, add rum

^try to match the format, as in have a name, ingredients, and recipe directions (shake or stir, light on fire or add boiling water). Like i posted earlier. I want this thread to be like a database for readers, to easily read ideas so that they can try something new the next time they're out shopping for alcohol.

1 1/2 oz. vodka
3/4 oz. Kahlua
3/4 oz. light cream
Ice

Mix together vodka and kahlua in a glass and add plenty ice. Float cream on top.

Lynchburg Lemonade

Ingredients
1 part Jack Daniel's® Tennessee whiskey
1 part sweet and sour mix
1 part triple sec
4 parts Sprite® soda

Add ice and stir. Garnish with lemon slices and cherries.
Serve in:

Can't go wrong with the mojito

Mojito

1/2 teaspoon confectioners' sugar
1/2 lime, juiced
1 sprig fresh mint, crushed
1/2 cup crushed ice
2 fluid ounces white rum
4 fluid ounces carbonated water
1 sprig fresh mint, garnish

Directions
In a highball glass, stir together the confectioners' sugar and lime juice. Bruise the mint leaves and drop into glass. Fill glass with crushed ice and pour in rum. Pour in carbonated water to fill the glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Sake Bomb (pronounced SAH-kee)

1 shot Sake
3/4 glass Japanese Beer
2 Chopsticks

Warm the Sake (a type of "rice wine" or "rice liquor" from the east). Place 2 chopsticks parallel on top of the glass of Japanese beer. Rest the shotglass of Sake on the two chopsticks.
With both hands, make a fist and slam the table next the glass so that the chopsticks give way and the Sake falls into the beer. Immediately drink the mixture all at once.

12 beers
a 26 of vodka or another clear liquor but it's supposed to be vodka
2 packs of frozen lemonade (pink is prefered)

put ingredients in a bowl or jug, mix.

it gets you really drunk and doesn't really taste like alcohol.

there's this group at my university called SOOPP (pronounced soup) who makes a drink, called soup. it tastes like candy and apparently is full of alcohol. i tried some at the last engineering party (soopp is an engineering alumni group) and it tastes delicious, like i would drink it just to drink it. i didn't have the chance to see how strong it was though because i was already falling over drunk lol. the recipe is kept under strict secrecy and no one other than soopp knows it.

desert sunrize

3 ice cubes
approx 1/3 to 1/2 glass of vodka
approx equal pineapple juice
splash of orange juice
a couple drops of grenadine

put it all in a tall glass in order. amount of vodka is dependent on how strong you want it. do not shake or stir. its a really cool looking drink that gets you drunk and tastes good too.

1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz jagermeister
1/2 oz kahlua
2 drops grenadine

Fill an old-fashioned glass half full with ice. Add first three ingredients into the glass and sway lightly to mix them together. Add the 2 drops of grenadine for the red hour glass on the bottom of the widow maker spider.


rocket fuel

1 oz vodka
1 oz tequila
1 oz rum

use all light liquor.

1/2 oz jim beam
dash of 151
1/2 oz SoCo peach

mix the beam and soco, put the 151 as a layer on top, then light the shot on fire. extinguish then take immediately.

Grainerade. Take your large bottle of Gatorade, add Grain alcohol. But...very...carefully.
