1996 dodge Caravan, Blower Motor only works after hitting it

Every time I start the van up I have to give a small kick to the blower motor and then it starts working. After it starts working I can move it to different settings with no problems......Do I need to replace the entire unit?

Are you whacking the blower motor or the control panel? If it's the blower motor, just replace that. If it's the control panel, sounds like a loose connection. You can check before you replace anything.

You're gonna crack the Blower Motor housing if you continue to do that. If that happens, you won't get as much air through the system. More...
