Talking Mini Cooper !

Hi everbody. Today I present my Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper S Mk.I `64

this thing is super cute to make. If you ainīt made it, do it 1 or try with the newest Austin , that will be more updated as a kit. But has everything.Impressive , with the engine and all.

Regards from me to all.

possible tunning

Thanks guys. Although I donīt consider myself a tunning-car lover , I recognize that this kit offers a base for some cool ideas. I would be nice to widen it a bit and putting instead of classical Mini-sporting minilite wheels a set Watanabes RS , for instance , and painting the roof the Union JAck or a checkered pattern may be. Donīt know ..so many possibilities...Even making a "Cooper-Clubman Van" as a long-term project , with wood effects and all, why not?

The only Mini I've had the pleasure of riding in was a Mini Woody Wagon. Very cool.

Nice work on the Mini JM.
I've seen dozens of them all painted in red but that British Green
really looks great on it.

Thanks people.

Hi , thanks everybody for the compliments. These old-time classics have had always quite a charm , havenīt them? I donīt know to a which extent would be consequent to buy the Austin Mini considering how similar they are , the Morris and the Austin, but may be ...

These cars are really special anyway. I have a friend who has a `71 850 and itīs superfun. Sounds like a Spitfire from the 2nd W.W. and corners like nothing else in the world. Donīt get it wrong , itīs not just a citycar. Itīs much , much more.

Good idea that of making an Italian job diorama.Specially for me , that I study in Turin, by the way.

Did you know that Steve McQueen ordered for himself in the late `60s a woody clubman cooper ? Itīs too sweet that thing ! If I remember well it even was automatic , strange !

Well , Regards , fellows.

Nice looking job on the mini
When i see Mini's i always remind myself of this speedway Mini that used to race at our local track. At the time not even V8's could beat it !!
It went around 10-12 meetings before it was beaten. One race they started it from poll postion(but a lap down) and it still won

Warren, but that Mini really exists?

ITīs the most brutal Mini I have seen in my whole life...I ainīt got words. Do you know how many hp. has it? IT must have the grip of a spider and the acceleration of the Columbia Shuttle more or less !!

Well thanks , I retire myslef to think it over...

That model looks very clean. How about a few pics of the engine? What motor powered those mini's anyways? Anyone know if someone ever threw in like a small block v8 or something into one of those? That would be crazy drag car.
