What do you think?
I saw this deal online for the 17" Motegi MR7 w/ tires for $849. The offset for the 17x7's is +40mm, which should be fine on the G right? How much do our stock wheels weigh? Each of the MR7's is 24.5lbs, so I was wondering if that's more or less than the stock wheels. I saw a few G's with those same wheels and they looked tight. thanks

can't remember off hand but i think it was like 18-19lbs for the mesh ones (non-touring). summitracing sells those motegi's and are real nice, imo. the weight is kinda on the heavier side, but for the street shouldn't make that much difference. also, remember that tires weigh differntly too. it's the gross weight that matters. 40mm offset is kinda pushing it on the front, but it'll fit.

The front fit perfectly, but the backones I had trouble with. You know how the center of most rims has like a logo of the company that makes them. Well when I put on the back rims, there is a metal cap in the center of the rotor that sticks out and it pushes out the logo cap on the rims. I had to do some work, but now the logo cap on the rims sticks out a bit. Anyone know how to take that metal cap off the rear rotor? I tried to hammer a screw driver into the seam where the cap meets the rotor but it wouldnt work. The front ones dont have these caps thats why the front rims fit good. Thanks
