the horn on my 2000 accord ex does not work when pressing on the steering wheel, but does work when you lock the car. Also the cruise control went out at the same time.
any suggestions

Check your fuses.
The sound your hear when you lock your car comse from a different source. Sam

Mine 99 LX has two fuse pannells. One at the driver side and one at the passenger side doors. Have you checked them both? If all fuses look good, check out fusible links located under the hood.

Why use a horn? Just yell really loud out the window and extend your arm, make a fist, and extend only the middle finger.
