lookie what I got!!!

I found it and bought it, most likely from someone on here. I can't wait to get it. I have the street version (XR4i) and plan on making a bad a$$ street burner

I hope to find a 4 cylinder turbo to put in it, but if it comes down to it, I'll just make it a twin turbo V-6. I plan on casting the mesh wheels from the tamiya porche GT3 (the yellow one) and making them a bit smaller to fit the vehicle. I'm thinking a bright metalic blue with black and silver/gray interior. of course big exhaust. I don't know which wing I like better. the XR4i or the RS500, just have to wait and see

does anyone know if the Monogram turbo Capri RS has a good engine in it, if so I'll just use that, as it's the same one they put in the turbo sierras.

anyway, thanks for looking. any other ideas would be very welcome, and if you have one built up, or in a project mode post it up I'd love to see it

You'll find a Ford 4cy. turbo in Monogram's 1/24 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe kit. That's the engine I used to make a model of my friend's Merkur XR4Ti.

Re: lookie what I got!!!

cool, do you happen to have any pics of the engine bay? I'd love to see them. I have the monogram imsa, or something, early fox body race car that has a really nice turbo 4, I think it's a cosworth motor, and I don't really know if that's correct for the XR4TI, but it would be bad to the bone!! I'll have to cast it and make a resin re-pop, as I don't want to leave that beautiful 'stang without a motor.

thanks for the source, I'll have to go check out that T-bird tomorrow
