My venting session

So I'm at work today, haven't been there but maybe 30 minutes, and while I was in the office talking to my manager (finding out that my job...which is new by the way, may be fucking me over) and a co-worker of mine comes in and says someone backed into my car. Thinking its maybe a little scratch, I go out to look at it, and what do I find?

Busted corner

Scratched up bumper...which has been replaced maybe 6 months ago

The fender is bent in a little bit

Another view of how the fender is bent in

The head light is slight pushed under the hood

Another angle of the scratches and busted corner

To make things worse, not a single LEO (Law Enforcement Office) could do a damn thing because it was on private property....not even a fucking accident report. So if the dumb ass decides he doesn't want to pay I'm screwed...unless I file a law suit. He claimed to have insurance, but said he didn't want to make a claim to his insurance, and without a police report, I can't force him! The bastard couldn't even read or write. He wrote his phone number down for me, but I had to write his damn name. Not to mention he drove a busted ass 80s model gmc pickup that already looked like shit so he could care less if it gets fixed. I just don't have luck with this damn car! It's meet a mailbox about 6 months ago (me not paying attention), and its been rear ended by a 6 year old on a 4-wheeler, and now an idiot backs into it. What really makes me mad was he was parked no where near my damn car!!!! Anyways, my venting session is over

Re: My venting session

People suck, it's a basic fact of life.

If it wasn't so illegal, I would have killed a bunch of them by now.

Yeah like 3 or 4 months ago! Now its damaged too bad that I can't afford to pay to have it fixed myself and just let that guy pay me back. I have to go through the insurance which really pisses me off because I do not want an accident to show on that car...especially since I'm considering trading it in. Now my front bumper has been replaced once, and possibly repainted again, and my back bumper has been repainted. I guess next time it'll be totaled

Re: My venting session

you'd get money, but theres no way in hell you'd ever get out of it what you put into it, its very rare to get ahead by having a totalled out vehicle,
so it was a hit and run?? you dont know who did it??? thats not shit compared to what happened to me in this thread below, but at least mine wasnt a hit and run and i didnt pay a penny to fix it, if it would have gotten my front quarter panel it would have been totaled, and i would have gotten probably less then what i still owed on it, i would have been fucked

Re: My venting session

me?? not a damn thing, just the opportunity to beat the shit out of a rental car (a 2005 hyundai elantra)for a week, it costed the insurance company a hair over $1900

what sucks though is when they put the door back on, they didnt redo the locks right, cuz the lock is kinda messed up, and i didnt notice it till after the 30 day warranty was up

Re: My venting session

Haha gotta love rental cars. One of the few chances to beat on a car and not have to pay anything for it.

Re: My venting session

I park next to the parking lot lights as close as i can get to the passenger side, and then take up 2 spots way out in the parking lot away from everybody. For reasons like this, sorry to hear bro.

Re: My venting session

not directly related, but when you live in hickville where nobody gives a shit if you have a halfway decent looking car (look around you'll see old rusted larrymobiles, lowered el caminos, and big ass dodge diesels with their pumps turned up so high they just dump it and the whole fu*(ing sky turns black...stupid hicks...anyway, I was at work one day, and it just starts hailing golf ball sizes pieces of hail pouring from the sky...and sense nobody else pays attention to their old pof's (piece of ford's, lol) my company won't pay me anything for the dents, they say they were already there. I was like, look at it..do you think I would let it just be there, lol. a$$donkeys... oh well, my vents over. back to your cavy, oh btw, that sucks man, i'm sorry.

Yes I know who did it and no it wasn't a hit and run. True it's not as bad as your cavy was, but you have to understand that this isn't the first time my cav has taken damage. This is the third time within a year. I'm tired of not having a car due to it being fixed all the time!
