wiper function...

My wipers (98 Jimmy) work correctly, all the time, only in high-speed.

If they're set in low-speed, or in any of the intermittent settings, it's hit-and miss.

The same applies to 'single wipe' function - hit-and-miss.

Wiper 'parking' has about a 2" variation from all the way down.

Any ideas???

Thanks!

Re: wiper function...

Improper wiper operation is usually caused by cracked solder joints on the pulse board. Normally just remelting the solder with fix the issue. Alternately, if the joints are the problem, you can opt to spend about $40 on a new board.

Thanks.

I did a 'wiper' search of GMC posts, and the second one I found looks like it was posted with my wipers' symptoms.

Where's the circuit board to pull?
