If it is indeed a 944 Turbo S...then I'd take that hands down...that's 250HP turbocharged doing 0-60 in 5.5 seconds.

The 5th Gen Lude does 200HP and 0-60 in 7.7 seconds (something like that)

Course you have to weigh in the mileage and condition of the 944 Turbo S...if it is ragged on...then it becomes iffy...but if it's good/great condition...I'd pick one up...I had a friend who had one w/minor mods and race tires and he was absolutely fast on our Solo I courses.

i believe the s2 is right at 7 seconds on 0-60
so that should put the normal 944s at about 7.5ish im thinking

whats 0-60 on a pralood?

The latest SH preludes get sub -7 second times. An N/A 944 will also get sub-7 second times. I would vote for the 944 because I am partial to RWD vehicles.

ludes do 0-60 in about 6.8 maybe faster with a good driver. Actually the sh is not faster than the base , its a tad bit slower cause of extra weight and the atts takes some torque. 7.7 where did u get that from, thats more like camaro v6 times.

i've seen so many variations in the 0-60 time with the prelude in magazines. as low as 6.5 seconds to as high as 7.7. i timed my lude sh with one of those gtech things at 7.2 with i/h/e . that was before the supercharger. i did it again after and a best time of 5.9, but an average of maybe 6.1 all thanks to my shitty-ass tires. damn FWD, damn it to hell!!!!

most modern vehicles can get to 60 fairly quickly, within 6-7 sec or so
where the porsche will shine, is when the prelude tops out at 130 or so, while the porsche will easly take you up to 150 and beyond

you cant beat that for the price anywhere

porsche has this race hands down

That's great. Please don't post in old threads. Especially old, old threads...
