ECU Code Help

My service engine soon light keeps coming on and the code is P1400 as undocumented code. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?????

Hi:

I went to Autozone, and they pulled a code P1445 from my 96 Maxima. They had me call the company that they work with to get the meaning of the code they pulled. Their number is 1-800-228-7664. Tell them that you went to Autozone, and that they didn't have the code that corresponds to your number. They will route you to their technical service desk, and they'll look it up from there.

P1400 pertains to the EGR and canister control solenoid valve circuit. This means the improper voltage signal is detected by the ECM through the solenoid valve. You can check your harness or connectors (the valve circuit may be open or shorted) and the EGR valve.

Well I pulled the whole#$%^^ EGR apart and cleaned the carbon build up, took it for a drive and no SES light then shut it down went on the hoghway and it came back. This is really starting to annoy me. So now I am going to change the 2 solenoids ont he back of the cylinder head. I really hope this is what it is.:apuke:
