A very strange question
I'm typing out a document at the moment and I need to insert a symbol that I've never seen before and which also doesn't seem to be in Microsoft Word.
It's like a rounded w with a " above it. Anyone know what it is or where I can find one to insert into a word document??

Look in WordPad! The numbers to the side on the keyboard can be typed in to use codes for creating such symbols. WordPad will have an option that shows you such symbols. Hope I explained enough and that it's right!

Wordpad?? You mean the data entry part of the keyboard on the right. How do I know what code it is? It will take forever to go through all the different combinations.

Every computer should have it! Go to Start then Programs then Accessories then WordPad should be the last under thing in the list. Oh, it may possible Notepad. If you can't find it, then I don't know! Under one of those though, you should be able to find the list on your own. If not, I check my PMs!
![]() Yes, the data entry! It would actually take you forever since there are over 5000 codes I do believe! Good luck!

Darn it! Gotta send it agan then. I've never sent you one though did I?
Anyhow, this thread has had a lot of views? Maybe no one is computer literate? When does this document need to be finished? I'll see if I can find it, post it, then you can use it! I'll find the whole list if I have to!

Spec2! Spec2! I found it! I found it! Go back to Accessories, then find Character Map under Accessories or under System Tools!
Now, all you have to do is find the symbol you want!
