d16 turbo or 75 shot?

Girlfriend has a civic and is a fast and furious freak and now wants to go fast. I was thinking bout going the way of getting her the Greddy Turbo Kit. SHe has 98 Ex but I dunno. Was thinking about just giving her basic bolt ons with maybe a 75 shot. Which one do you guys think is better and less to take care of? I'm leaning more towards the NOS but she might get push button happy.. Whats your opinion?

going with that 75 shot will probably kill the engine if not properly done and if your going turbo you should find out as much as you can about themand how to maintain them because if you don't know what your doing you'll probably end up messing up your engine.

Do both yourselves (or something) a favor, make sure she knows how to drive something like that first, a turboed civic with stock internals and a little boost (<8psi) ain't exactly a funny car, but it's enough to get hurt in, i normally don't pull this grandpa wisdom crap, but an *aquantance from school recently did this: 1.watched f&f 2. wrapped dad's '68 stingray around a tree (bastard didn't get a scratch on him either), but anyway, if you got enough money to buy her a turbo, spend a little more and get her in a decent 1-2 day defensive/peformance driving class

Thanks for the replies. Me myself knows how to take care of the turbo. I was planning on running it on stock internals with maybe like 8 lbs. that should be good for her but then again i was thinking why do that when the only time she'll race it is on the weekends. thats why i was headed toward the NOS. SHe does know how to drive. I made sure of that. And even though my car isn't all that quick she has driven that and drives it pretty well. I think she would be safe with it. I dunno.

Does she know how to drive w/ nitrous? OR is she going to drive around spraying it in low rpms at every light through every single gear, missing gears, and driving 55mph hitting the purge button? Certain precautions must be taken...

I would agree with nemesls_2000. Be sure she understands when she is supose to spray. I would go with the bolt on's the car will be alittle quicker then before and the nitrous when she wants to dust someone. Also be sure you set the nitrous up correctly take it to the track and get it tuned in. If it is set up correctly the motor will run forever. alot longer than the turbo will. :sun:
