Ram 150 pickup
Was working on my fathers 1990 Ram 150 today and can't figure out this problem.
The truck is hard to start, when it's started, the only way it will run is if the gas pedal is pushed to a high idle.It will stop as soon as the gas pedal is released and the moter returned to normal.Fuel pressure seems good and I cleaned the contacts in the distrubuter. Anyone have a idea what could be the problem??Thanks |

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check you vacuum hoses.
Come back here if still having problems Jim:bandit: :bonghitte :bonghitte |

Re: Ram 150 pickup
I'm having the exact same problem with my '88 Dodge D100 with 3.9L. Did you ever find a fix? I've replaced fuel pump, O2 sensor, etc etc, and am at my wits end!
