having trouble with my 1989 dodge ram 250 pickup

i was in a minor accident with my 1989 dodge ram 250 3/4 ton pickup. i have had a mechanic look at it and he says the engine is fine, as well as the fuel system. there is a safety switch (fuel cut-off switch) that i need to push in order to start my truck, but i can't find it. if anybody knows where this fuel cut-off switch is, please e-mail me.

get a haynes manual it will tell you right exactly it is . Should be by passanger side by firewall but check manual.
