Mold Lines
After a several month hiatus from both modeling and this board, I've finally restarted my Tamiya 350Z that I had to strip the paint from. Before I prime it once again, I was curious how the mold lines will effect the final paint. I have sanded them down to the point where you can't feel them at all - smooth if you run your fingernail across the line - but you the lines are still visible. Will they still be visible once I prime and put the color coats down?

Re: Mold Lines
Traces of mold lines are often still visible in bare plastic even after they have been completely removed from the surface. This is mostly due to the flow patterns of the molten plastic when the body was molded. They will likely be completely invisible when you prime (they will be invisible if youve removed them from the surface). This is part of why primer is a necessary step- because it allows you to evaluate the quality of the surface without illusions created by the bare plastic.

Re: Mold Lines
What type of sealer can be applied over Tamiya grey or white primer?
