Finished: Ford SVT Lightning

Here it is - Testors Transparent Candy Grape over Grabber Blue. No clearcoat, no polishing. My biggest mistake on this model was spraying the purple too thick and not really covering the panel lines, but part of thats thanks to the testor's can spraying a gallon paint/second. Only modification is I shaved the logos off the tailgate.

i think those panel lines look pretty sick. It may stick out a little, but it gives it a neon feel. Very interesting

Not sure how I feel about the panel lines they sure do add a unique effect to the truck. If you want to to get rid of them just use thined out black paint or a .20mm black pen from any art store and that should make it a little more realistic. I like the color though.

Re: Finished: Ford SVT Lightning

haha i just noticed on three of the wheels, the SVT emblem decals must have fallen off at some point. anyone else have that problem at all?

also, with the panel lines, one thing i found that would be difficult to correct the error is in places its pulled away just outside of the panel line as well, so there are places where it would look strange to cover the blue with black. i'll probably just leave it and enjoy the unusual look to the truck.

thanks for the feedback!
