P10 "T" Model Suspension question

Besides the stiffer springs, what else is different between the P10 touring model and the luxury model? Are the struts/shocks the same? Thanks!

What I've been told is that the "t" model got the suspension from the 91-93 models, while the 94+ base models received a softer suspension.

I suppose one of these days I should look at the fiche to confirm this.

OK, I checked the fiche and was quite surprised......

There is no difference between the base and t models as it relates to springs. This is contrary to what has always been stated on the SE-R Mailing List.

Not exactly. The fronts are different if you have a manual gearbox or a slushbox, but the same part numbers are used for all years and models.

The rears changed through the years. I don't know what is different about them however. I can comfortably say (assuming the fiche is correct - not always a correct assumption) that there is no difference between base and "t" model springs.

Yeah, I found this out too. I noticed it when I traded in my 94 auto for a 95 5-spd. I had pulled the ground controls off my 94, left them adjusted (didn't figure i needed to change anything), put them on my new car, and after installing everything I noticed the front was about 1/2" higher than the rear! I just figured it to be the difference in weight between the auto and 5-spd transmission. I heard the auto is somewhere around 80lbs heavier? I'm also thinking that is why the intrax springs were quite a bit lower on the front of my old car, they were designed on a 5-spd, and didn't take into account the heavier front end on the auto? Maybe?
