vtech head swap, possible?
i was wondering if a B series vtech head will work on a 90 CRX DX engine. Not swapping the whole engine, just the head...

No.
Get a VTEC head instead Oh, and even then it still won't work as you would be trying to put a "B" series head on a "D" series block. Nothing matches up

Isn't the SOHC VTEC head a D series, not a B?

yes, the two heads that will work are the heads from the d16y8 or d16z6 engines. to tell u the truth unless u can get the head and vtec controller dirt cheap it will cost just as much as a complete ZC engine. Also with the head swap u will have many fuel and timing headaches. But again if u can get the stuff cheap go for it.
