30,000 mile maintance

I'm due for 30,000 maintance on my '00 Civic EX. Called up for an appointment and asked how much would it be. Guess how much? Take a guess. Try $467 fricken dollars. Is it me or does that seem a bit outrageous? What the hell do they do? Sorry, I had to vent.

No way, dont pay that. Check out the back of your owners manual, it says everything the car's due for at that time.
