Hi, I have a 1993 Caprice 5.7L and I need to change my flywheel. When I look for flywheels at parts stores, there is a flywheel with "153 teeth" and another with "168 teeth." Anyone know which one I need for my car? Please let me know. Thanks.

Re: 93 Caprice Flywheel?
If you mean the flexplate (since you probably don't have a manaul trans) you need a standard 153T SBC flexplate with the integral "bat" counterweight (same as for any SBC one-piece RMS crank). TCI offers a nice one that is thicher and stronger than a factory stamping, P/N 399173.

Re: 93 Caprice Flywheel?
Thanks guys, I just wanted to make sure it was definitely the flywheel flexplate with 153 teeth, not 168 teeth.
