Best Automatic Launch?
I hit the lottery and was handed over my dad's 97 Civic EX sohc Vtech. He gave me about 3 grand to do what ever I wanted with it. I know you're thinking "damn spoiled brat kid" but I haven't had a break like this in my entire life. Anyway, the car is sick and I put the entire 3 grand into the thing. Shitty thing is is that it's an automatic. As you all know automatic=bad launch. Is there a better way to launch it than "power braking" or "neutral drops"?
Here's where the 3 g's went -Carbon fiber hood -SSP exhaust with custom 2" piping to the cat -DC headers -Nakayama Cold Air Intake -Venom 400 Performance Control Module -16" Motegi Wheels w/ kuhmo low pro tires -Matrix Coil Overs -Broadway Mirror -Matrix pedals (blue) -HID headlight conversion

Thats tight ass. Do not be troubled my automatic friend. There is a website www.levelten.com At level ten you can buy a torque converter for an automatice trans and with the torque converter you are able to adjust the stall speed of the car. For those of you who do not know what stall speed is, it is when you step on the gas the you will not have lockup untill a desired Rpm setting. If you have this and learn how to use it right you will have outstanding launches

DO NOT FAWKING NUETRAL DROP YOUR GOD DAMN AUTO YOU STUPID PRICK!
Holy crap, make your automatic tranny even worse why dont you... Sorry if thats coming out a little harsh, sit back and let it soak in. DO NOT EVER do that to your tranny or you just waisted all your money when you drop your tranny in the middle of a damn intersection! MAN!

What a nice group of people!
Silly fucking me miss spelled VTEC. To be honest I was under the impression that only the Si came with VTEC. To my surprise, when I put on the Venom 400 in I could actually feel the vtec. And by the way, I have a VTECH phone so lay off. And about the automatic launch, I'm not fucking stupid, I have never done a neutral drop and never will. I was just fucking asking if there was a better was to launch my car for christ sake. Thanks for all of the dickhead comments. And thanks to the few who understood what the hell I was talking about.

power braking is holding the brake down while reving to a desired RPM and droping the brake.
neutral drop is when you put the thing in neutral, rev or hold down the pedal and drop it down to D4 or drive.
