'87 Delta Idle issue

My 1987 Delta 88 with a 3.8l V-6 is starting to act up when starting. It will not idle, but when I give it gas it will run. Any suggestions?
It just started doing this today. although it has had a rough idle.

Thanks!

Any trouble codes? I vote that you need new plugs (AC Delco ONLY!) and wires (don't get cheapies). Or just a basic tune-up. Filters, O2 sensor, plugs, wires, and a bottle of injector cleaner (chevron techron or lucas would fix you up niceley).

Re: '87 Delta Idle issue

The plugs and filters are brand new. Wires are in good shape. I will check to make sure the plugs are tight. I am thinking a bad injector since it will not idle. ??? Thank You!

Umm...you didn't buy Bosch plugs by any chance, did you??? If you did...then that would be your problem. Did you gap them correctly?

Re: '87 Delta Idle issue

No, I use only AC plugs in this car. Turns out it was the AIC valve.
Thanks for the suggestions, Bob
