240sx vs. DSM
how do any/every year of the 240sx's hold up to the Talon/Eclipse's GS/RS/GS-T/GSX?

The older model (meaning the 1st Gen) GST and GSX's are better than the 2nd gen's b/c they can handle more power and dont have the crankwalk problems that the other 2 G's have.
RS/GS have the same engine so that's an easy win GST...you will need serious NA mods or a stage 1 turbo GSX...you'll need stage 1 to compete...good race I think

plus the 1st gen dsm's are alot lighter. those cars push similar hp compared to their overally bloated decendants.

it depends, a sr20det 240sx or stock. if you're talking about a sr20 powered 240sx, all you have to do is kick back, relax and watch your 240 beat the GST and GSX by 2 car length. yes, a GSX will take off by half a car length due to it's AWD system. a GST have no chance of taking off on you.
my bro friend 375+HP 95 GSX lost to a sr20 s13(not the 220HP or 240HP engine) and end up blowing up his motor while trying to race. my friend stock GST can't even beat a stock sr20 180sx no matter how hard he tries.

a 375 hp gsx lost to a stock S13 SR20DET? i find that hard to believe. somethign must've been wrong with the eclipse's motor. maybe thats why it blew when he pushed it too hard.

yea that guy in da gsx must drive w/ one hand or something ... cauze there's no way on dis earth a stock 205hp sr20det can beat any compact car with 375hp

i forgot to mention, the s13 wasn't running stock, he had a good 300wHP. the GSX engine was fully race prep. the s13 force the GSX to push hard, that's all. the funny thing was that they were racing uphill which you would think the eclipse would have a advantage from it's awd system.
