Which Integra To Buy

Hey guys, in a couple of weeks im buying a car to street race. I was looking at the type r and gsr integra, i was thinking of getting a gsr and some 18'' suicide rims with bomax body kit and street performance mufflers, maybe a spoon engine. My brother inlaw works at a honda place so he can hook me up with prices, but thats not the point. Which integra should i get? Which year? and what additions to make it acclerate and max out over like 220? Thanks for ur time, and if u could link me to some sites.

i am also buying altezza carbon fibers lights, if u can help me add on some stuff to make the car look better and run better please just tell me and if u can link me to a site with the stuff on it thanks

if you have the option to get a type R, get it. the high compression engine will help you out in a lot of ways...

If you are really hardcore about performance, then I would stay away from 18's...go with lightweight 15's or 16's.

First of all, Why would you be putting in a spoon engine into an integra???

220mph??? sure, that's reasonable, even though drag cars reach 210 with light weight parts etc...

whoa guys calm down, lol im gettin my car next week .. my friend said if i add thaqt shit itll hit 220 then i realized it would.. im not ganna get a spoon engine ill keep the one it comes with and see how i like it.. im ganna get 17's thats all i could find that i liked, thanks for ur help anyway.. if u still got advice id like to hear it

u want a street racing car that will go in a straight line, get the gsr. the type r is not set-up to drag, it is meant for autocrossing. look at the way it comes...high compression motor (10.6:1), full sway set-up (means very little lean) and a very light shell. the gsr however, will still handle well, but is much easier to make into a drag car. as for the 220, i won't say anything, an if the guy wants altezzas an all that, then good for him. its his car, let him do wut he wants. i do want to kno how ur gettin a 97 for 7k tho...thats a hell of a deal...
