Mclaren F1 GTR ?

Is there any Mclaren F1 GTR Le Mans Model kit made (beside Studio27 that cost 120$ )

I think you're SOL... at least in 1/24 scale... there are a couple 1/18 diecast, IIRC.

So, start saving/hunting for the S27 kit...

there is Profil 24, it's french, it's resin, it's expensive, but it's very nice and the car is so wonderful !!!!!

Damn that suxs. If only Tamiya got the licence for that car, then DAMN, it would be so nice and detailed!!

Profile 24 and Studio 27 are the only current companies doing 1:24th McLaren GTR's. Sakatsu (or was it Modellers?) did the Ueno Clinic version and that is what P24 used as their master. P24 is a pretty hard kit to build (for the price). My S27 is a thing of beauty! Those machined wheels are art.

It was Modeler's which made the McLaren first. S27 bought the master, and reissued it in several different teams. If P27 used the Modeler's as a master, they are all essentially the same body, then.

Gotcha. Sakatsu did the CLK...anyways. P24 looks to be a copy of a short tail S27 (which is based on the Modeler's short tial). I'm guessing the current S27 long tail is also based on the original Modeler's body? If so, that original master has gotten around 8-)>
