Gold, Copper, or Bronze wheels?

Im starting on another model, the Fujimi RSX Feel's to be exact. I've already painted the model in Tamiya Pearl White. I have an idea of what wheels i want to mount on the model but I have a question as to what color i should paint them. I have a box of Aoshima Gram Lights (#132) and Blitz Techno Z4 (#135). I'm leaning towards the Z4s because they're a bit bigger and at least I think RSXs would look pretty sweet in 18 or 19s. They both come chrome plated and I plan to leave the lips that way. However, I'd like to paint the rest of the wheel so that it resembles the wheels on these pictures:

I've only painted wheels once before in a gunmetal color so im sorta new with distinguishing the difference between gold, copper, and bronze. I've already been to my hobby shop and taken a look at the colors but of course they look different after you shack the bottle and slap on the paint. I've also never tried mixing colors like bronze and silver to, im assuming, get a shiny bronze. Can anyone tell me what color would be my best bet to match the wheels in the pictures that the link takes you to?

As always I greatly appreciate the time you guys take to read my threads and offering your opinions.

Gold.

You seriously can't distinguish between gold, copper and bronze?

Re: Gold, Copper, or Bronze wheels?

I dont see much of a difference when i take a look at the colors in the small tamiya and testors jars. im used to gold being bright like on jewelry but its not so bright in tamiya paint. some paints look one color inside the jar but change look when you apply it on. my clear blue, for example, looks dark blue until you apply it on a clear piece of plastic. some copper looks bright like gold to me when it should be a bit dimmer than gold. I think its tamiya copper the one that looked like gold to me.

Thanks Ray. Im ganna swing by the hobby shop tomorrow and try the gold. Do you have any favorite brand (testors, mr. color, etc.) you like to use and might want to recommend?

Re: Gold, Copper, or Bronze wheels?

Just use Tamiya TS 21 Gold from a spray/rattle can. Also with the Tamiya Clear Blue, if you do light coats then you can get anything from a mid blue hue thru to dark. The more coats or thicker the coat you do, the darker it gets.

Re: Gold, Copper, or Bronze wheels?

I agree with Malscar, if you're getting gold the one in the rattle can is better, Tamiya paint jar gold has huge flakes in it which doesn't do much good. Testors enamel is my preference after Tamiya spray.

Gold is yellowish, copper is more orange, and bronze is more red.
