Parking Brake
I Have A 93 Crown Vic With Rear Ddisc Brakes With Pads And A Set Of Shoes For The Parking Brakes. I Have Replaced The Rear Rotors And Pads With No Problem But When It Came To The Shoes For The Parking Brake I Have No Idea As To Install Them With The Springs. Is There A Special Tool To Install Them Or Is There Something Really Dumb That I Am Missing. Thanks Sam

Re: Parking Brake
Those are not really easy to install. We use a pair of small needle nose vice grips and a screwdriver. We have also found out it is a lot faster to remove the rear axles and assemble the parking brake shoes on the bench then install them as one piece. Then all you have to do is hook up the cable and holddowns and top adjuster.
