Just had a good idea...

Okay. Here's my dilema. I want to get a set of euro-clears for my 90 Si hatch... Now, the problem is that the only ones made for the 4th gen look retarded. The lenses ar cool (nice and clear, no reflective texturing), but the chrome housing looks ridiculous, all that waffle texture in the chrome is ugly as hell:

picture shown is CRX euro-clears, but hatch ones look the same

However, the stock corner lenses (or the regular clear corner lenses) do not have this waffle pattern in the chrome housing. So, I'm thinking about buying a set of the euro-clears and a set of the regular clears and swapping the euro-clear lenses over to the regular clears' housing... What do you think?

(also, in my case, I'll be painting the chrome housing black to match the headlights, but it still won't have the bumpy texture on the housing)

Well, I was really pissed off, cuz I took my stock corners, popped off the lenses, and painted 1/2 of the chrome housing (under the clear part or the lens) gloss black, then put the lenses back on with hot glue, looked great. I don't know if sitting in the sun caused the glue to warm up, or wether i didn't get a good enough bond in the first place, but needless to say, both the lenses came off within 48 hours of putting them on. So, I'm going to try some epoxy or something next time...

man u should definetally try it, ur car looked dope as hell in those "large files beware", its rank, EXCEPT THE CORNERS!!! i hate the orange! absolutely did not like that part about it.... so yes, do it, and keep doing it untill it is right. it would suit ur car sooo well.
and while were on the topic... if i take out my headlights and strip the chrome and paint it black, think itll look good and still be bright or what?then itll kinda be a fake projector style headlights hehe

I really wouldn't recommend that... OEM headlights are pretty dim as it is, plus, I'm sure that'd be really illegal. So if you really want some projectors, just shell out the dough, it's worth it...
