Re: which do you prefer?

toyota for sure. only reason really that i like honda's is because of the wealth of aftermarket parts available and can be temporary cheap reliable transportation when you ain't got a heck of a lot of money and need something you know will run. i prefer toyota's reliability over honda's (both still good) plus there aren't many toyota's that are already modified like honda's (except supra maybe). Less chance that a toyota has been "driven hard" by it's last few <19 year old owners like honda's too. My dad owned 2 honda's before he switched to saturn's in 94, they were "okay" to him but preferred my grandma's vehicle whenever he used it. my grandma always drove a toyota, (i remember the old school boxy brown toyota van she had, thing was freakin sweet and ran forever), then stuck with camrys/corollas for a while and now has an 03 4 runner limited she bought brand spankin' new when she retired. many family members drive toyota's as well (camry most popular).

Re: which do you prefer?

GM. Both mine are running perfect, and I've never had to replace anything other than belts, hoses, brakes, and a water pump (and I am EXTREMELY hard on cars). I don't know how Asian imports got such a good name... I had one, it was the worst car I've ever owned. Stuff would break every few months, it was hard to replace, and cost 3x more than the same part for an American made car.
