removing spark plugs???

ok guys, i have never changed the spark plugs on a honda before. i tried to pull mine out to see how they looked and to see fi they need replaced. i slapped a wrench on them and tried to take them out but they would not loosen up...not even a budge. is there some kind of trick to remove these? i am affraid of breaking them off and they are soo far down i could never get them out. Thanks guys.

I dunno cause I have never changed them myself, I say just get a big ass torque wrench and find out what the specifications are.

Whatever you do, dont do this

turn left to loosen them. Use a cheater bar if you cant get it with just the wrench.

I wouldnt worry about stripping them cause of a locking washer or anything. They might be rusted in or something. That could make them a bitch to pull out.

They are in sort of tight, but I highly doubt you would break them. Plugs were one of the first things I did on my car and it was easy as hell. You need a special spark plug tool though, I would recommend the special tool over a socket wrench attachment as the socket extension tends to pull off if the plug is in tight. All you have to remember when installing them is only tighten them until they are in snug, if you overtighten you will break them.

goto like autozone or sumthin that when i changed my dads i did that and it was like a socket with a rubber piece in it to hold the spark plug so you could lift it out
