Black Names for Hurricane



Well, it appears our African American friends have found something else to be pissed about. A black congresswoman (this would be Sheila Jackson Lee,
of Houston) reportedly complained that the names of hurricanes are all
Caucasian- sounding names.

She would prefer some names that reflect African- American culture such as
Chamiqua, Woeisha and Jamal. I can hear it now: A black weatherman in
Houston saying...

"Wordup, Muthas! Herr-i-cane Chamiqua be headin' fo' Galveston like Leroy
on a crotch rocket! Bitch be a category fo'! So turn off them chitlins,
grab yo' chirren, leave yo crib, and head fo' de nearest FEMA office fo yo FREE shit. "

I actually think it is.. mainly because there's alot of black chicks with the name. Just like sheniqua and the like.

I can tell you from experience that I have NEVER met a "Woeshia" or "Chamiqua".... EVER. lol those cant be used to represent the general black population... use something like alisha or shante`

Shoot, I took it as a joke and I am very racial sensitive, doesn't matter what race it is.

Since we are on the subject of names for hurricanes. Just be glad that they don't give full names, especially the spanishs one, cause we would run out of names real quick.

I would love it if they used spanish names because imagine just talking in conversation about the hurricanes and how hard it would be to correctly say it out and it would be funnier if they all used alot of the names alike except change one or here there.
