try, www.hondamotorsonline.com they have the motor and tranny. you could use your stock tranny though. I believe they ship it with an ECU which is usually a 86-91 integra ECU.

But id contact them, all their motors are warrantied to. And guaranteed to start up and all sensors be intact.

you can definatley use the DX tranny. Some ZC trannies came with stock LSD, so if you can get one i would. DX ratio is kinda close together.

Good trannies to use:

all 88-91
ZC
Si
LX

Where at in Maryland, cause I'm gonna be looking at gettin a B16 in like 6 months. Also, do you know any places that'll put on a body kit and paint a car, and have it look good? I live on Kent Island which is right near Annapolis.

Well the ZC swap I am planning.. If i do not go sohc vtec... The end result will be around $5k.. The swap will cost 3500. That would be after being rebuilt, all new belts, new head gasket, block work, new clutch assembly and aluminum flywheel, ractive spark plug wires, iridium spark plugs, ported and polished head, new valve springs and retainers, 60mm throttle body, reground cams, intake, ported and polished intake manifold, oh yeah and my engine will come with LSD.... I plan to turbo so I am not sure if I will bore out and drop in new pistons and rods. The labor will be about $800 because I have to switch to 5speed manual and also all the work on the intake manifold and head. I would go SOHC VTEC if I could find it.... But I think a turbo ZC would do just fine... A turbo zc i read about ran a 12.9 @ 111mph. He wasnt running that high of boost... At least I dont think he was. I am sure it was under 12psi. http://www.homemadeturbo.com/ZC.html
But I would be happy with that performance.. And for less than I could swap a b16a in!!! I still want a b16a don't get me wrong but the price they charge to swap it in is criminal! $5200 +. I also like how turbos feel. The guy who built the ZC turbo is hoping to reconfigure and run at 22psi and make around 350hp and make mind to high 11s.... I would be happy with that setup.. BTW I am getting my ZC from www.nippon-motors.com or www.infinitemotorsports.net.

Ok I can tell you what I paid. I have the same car. 89 std hatch 4 spd.

I did the ZC motor, ZC tranny, ZC ECU (PM7), AEM CAI, DC header, Thermal exhaust. Your car will have to have its hubs changed to work with the SI or ZC tranny. Your car will also have to be rewired for Multipoint injection, you will need all kinds off little parts like a fuel injector resistor box, cat converter, axles, etc. I am having problems with the axles that were put into my car but thay is mainly due to the ZC tranny. If I were you I would get the SI tranny because you can have way less headaches. My ZC tranny is sweet though. I ended up spending about 3100 bucks when it was all said and done. This was with a new clutch, flywheel, axles, hubs, timing belt, water pump, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, motor mounts, SI throttle cable, etc. The car rides on hubcaps and pisses off every other car out there. Good news is our cars are very light. A friend of mine has a 94 CX hatch with a B16A w/LSD and i am right next to him as we race. And he spent WAY more than I did. By the way if your car has AC i would ditch it, its a pain to keep in the car. Mine is gone. :finger: VTEC!

Cool thanx. I'll keep those places handy. But like I said, thats 6 months away. What I really need is places that'll put on my kit and paint my car, cause my kits in my room and I got like $2500. I just need some place that'll do a good job, I'm thinkin I'd Better Go Maaco :frog:

What axles did you use?
- See my other thread "calling all ZC experts" God knows.

How much did you pay for your ZC because personally I think for what you did your overspent big time.

How did I overpay? Im whipping B16s right now.

Motor, trans, ecu, (all ZC) NEW axles, New Clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing, hubs, New Mounts, SI throttle cable, timing belt, water pump, alt belt, resistor box, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, radiator hose, Teg cat, front end alignment, AEM CAI, DC header, Thermal exhaust, and countless other little parts. How did I overspend? this was all installed. Keep in mind my car was a 4spd w/ dual point inj. Every part I got was brand new with the exception of the hubs and motor. Shit, take the bolts ons and add them up for their average price and you get 1200 bucks right there. I dont think I overspent at all chief. Go price a set of axles, clutch, flywheel and catalytic, see what your bill is... thats another 800- 1000 right there. Have you ever had a swap done? Maybe you should consider every single part that should be bought before you say I overspent. Analyzing it , i basically got the labor for free. The total of the stuff I named came to 2200 and its not even half the parts. Now sure you can go around and try to find the cheapest stuff around and save money and nickel and dime the hell out of it, but I didnt have the time to do that.

I was talking about your motor not aftermarket mods. So settle down "chief".. You planning on going turbo?
