Worn leather on Infiniti Q door panels
Has anyone ever experienced such issue with their Infiniti? I have a 95Q45 and I just had the door panels done[the section where you would normally put your elbow if you are driving with the windows down]. The guy mentioned that was the third one he has worked on with the same problem.

I just bought my Q and it has the same problem. Its not torn, it just looks all scuffed up on that side prolly cause that is where the guy always rested his elbow

Mine's wrinkled from previous owner and me resting the elbow there.

Me too
I just got a '96 Q45 and the spot where the driver would rest their elbow on the door panel had the leather worn away. The spot is a little bit smaller than a fist. Does anyone know of a fair price to get that leather redone? I just got a quote for $145 and want to know if that's fair. Thanks.

Re: Worn leather on Infiniti Q door panels
The door panels are not leather. They are naugahide. I had mine redone (1996Q) for a few hundred dollars. Sounds like a common problem, judging from these messages.

Re: Worn leather on Infiniti Q door panels
Actually, I think the upper door panel is Leatherette. $145 is a good price for true matching leather.
