Blacking Out My Tail lights

I Want To Black Out My Taillights, But I Still Want Light To Come Through. What Type Of Paint Should I Use?????

they can be painted, a friend of mine with a gen 1 neon sedan (dont ask) painted his stocks and they are just as good if not better than covers, and it worked out to be a lot cheaper. I dunno how to do it, and he doesent know cause a friend of his did it for him but I am sure my friend over at kilgores automotive knows how to do it cause he blacked out his 95 talon by painting the stocks. He also blacked out the headlights and its a black car and it looks dope as hell.

i know this sounds crazy but do you think tink would work? like the do it yourself stuff, i know some of its purple but some of it might be black i dunno i havent really looked at it, just an idea, or dude you should goto a junkyard and get like 1 tailight off a civic or sumthing and try it before you do it

Spray Tint your tails.

Look for brands like VHT and Foliatec and possibly that krylon stained glass spray

Go to Autozone or some store like that and get Night Shades spray paint. It works pretty good but just be smart and don't go too dark.

Once I tint my back windows I am gonna black out the tails. My car will look tight. But right now I got some shit I gotta take care of first and right now I am not making much money cause my job kind of sux because of school and stuff.

Smoked tails do look good but the cops will really hassle you. If you still want to do it just use the spray tint then clear coat them... I started with smoked then clears then the new altezza. The new Altezza I think suits the car the best. Thats only because it already has a kit and such...
