Re: Track day (Bandimere) video

Best part was seeing the 240z... now that's a true machine.

Hehe, good video, nice editing.

Re: Track day (Bandimere) video

That was a 383 powered Z.
He was quicker, but we were both trapping 115 MPH.

Hmm, he must be gearing limited? Probably a TH350 with 3.9 or 4.11 gears.

Good for outta the hole, but not much else.

Had a buddy with a worked over 400ci smallblock and a TH350 in a Z, thing was a freaking monster down low. He said he ran 11.5 with it uncorked and radials. He didn't have much up top, but anything below 100, that thing just moved. I raced him once from a dig on the street with my old Z with the SR20, and we were neck and neck, I slightly edged him out once we got to 90mph... but that was the end of our run. Needless to say he had traction issues, while I had a pretty drama-less launch.

Re: Track day (Bandimere) video

It is fast.
Faster actually. If I remember right, there is a bottle that wasn't being used that day.

11.5 is about what we would both be running on average traction off the mountain.
