origins of the teg console
does anyone know where this mod got its beggining? or how long its been around? I think it works on 5th gen civics as well.

I figure someone who had a civic rode in an integra and was like "dude thats badass, its got an armrest and storage" and then was like "an integras a honda, I wonder if it would fit in my car" and then fitted it and a bunch of people saw this civic with the integra console and was like, thats pretty badass, so now everybody is doing it. Personally I want the 92-95 console cause its got cup holders.

I was originally going to get a 5th gen but the interior and the rear hatch is ugly!!!! And I hate how the hatch opens

Hey guys I was the first one to actually put it out there so everyone can do this mod on 4thgenerationcivic.com. About 2+ years ago I stumbled on to a kids website who did the mod and asked him about it. He said it would only fit if you molded it. I decided to buy one anyway and it fit without any molding. I then put it on the original 4thgencivic.com. I guess you can say Im not the first person to do the mod but I am the first person to make it well known

I went to the local upholstery shop and had a red shift boot made for my console.. It looks really sweet and only cost about 30 bucks. I would post pics but my digital camera is broken.
I still need to get a teg console, I just found a DX console for now so I will probably need a new boot made for the new console, but worth it.

Actually - I think 94+ - the Tegs from 1994-2001 should all work - 1994 was the big change for the Integra to the new body style with the round headlights.
