04' grand am jacking points

Hola, Does anyone know where I can find the jacking points for this type of car?...or do most cars have standards jacking points?..

Your owner's manual will tell you. Usually there are notches in the pinchwelds of the rocker panel sheetmetal; right behind the front wheels and right in front of the rear wheels.

these points are designed for the jack provided with the car for changing a tire they can be used and will be fine for non-frequent use. but if u are constantly jacking the vehicle with a floor jack try to find a more solid point the pinchwelds can fold and "squish" with time and constant jacking but they can be used. that is what they are there for.

Lay down on the ground beside the drivers door. Its where the pretty painted part under the door meets the floor panel of the car. The panel under the door disappears under the car. Then it flares down and is welded to the floor panel. Behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel there should be notches in the pinchweld for the factory jack. I agree that using a regular floor jack will flatten the pinch welds, but that is the only factory approved place to lift since its a unibody car.

Damn sorry forgot about that unibody thing ya jack it on the pinch welds
