Re: Count down to the World Cup

i am extremely pumped myself, rooting for the home country of course, USA. id like to see england do well too though. it would be neat if australia made it somewhere too. i wont root for germany to win it all because of what happened last time, yes im still bitter. stupid ref.

brazil is the obvious favorite, but i dont want them to win necessarily. ive been to brazil to play soccer, and they are incredibly proud of themselves and it just gets old after a while. heck one of my best friends is a brazilian. i just want someone else to win for once.

Re: Count down to the World Cup

England all the way.
of course, being a realistic kinda guy, i can't see them getting past the quarter finals

argentina, italy, brazil and germany are simply still too good.
we're beginning to get there but it's still not as consistant as they are.

france and spain aren't exactly slouches either.

still, world cup = massive party in london
(if you ignore the mess that happens when england loses a game...)
