Check engine light, HELP!!!
I have had this check engine light problem for a couple of month;s now and I am getting no where trying to resolve the problems. My 92 Prelude SI is pulling a code for throttle position. I see the problem. The clamp with the wires is loose. Does anyone know if this can be fixed. I have looked in numerous junk yards and they only sell the wiring harness with the engines. I just need that one clip to stay in. Any help would be appreciated. Also I am pulling an O2 sensor code. Trying to get this fixed because I have to pass emissions.

take the clip apart and solder to the actual pins...could be risky but otherwise you dont really have a choice other than picking up a new plug from honda or the junk yard.

sounds to me like you just need to replace parts, but you dont want to. if you are pulling a code for O2, then i would say replace the sensor. if you are pulling a code for TPS, then replace that part also. if you cant get it from a junkyard without buying a motor, then try the dealership. i am certain they will sell you what you need, rather than a whole motor.
