Del Slow? I'd take the Civic any day over a Del Sol.

del sol is cool...but in a miatia (sp) kinda way....the type R sounds cool, because its a type R. Youll get alot more respect with a "R".

The "R" demands respect.

The del Sol VTEC is nice and light, but the CTR is the better overall package, especially if I'm answering this in the Street Racing forum...

I’d go for the Type R.

It occurs to me that this forum is about street racing. Now I know the ricers will "hate on me" for this post, but it is preposterous to race a Del Sol, or any kind of Civic for that matter! For gods sake! It's front wheel drive!

You can make a FWD car fairly quick, what with turbos and nitrous, but you can't change the fundamental fact that it is front wheel drive. I do respect Polygon for actually tuning his car, and making it fast. I don't hate front wheel drive, I'm just saying it's not really made for street racing. My 2 cents, let the "Hata's" loose

FWD cant take as much power or put it through as well as RWD, or get the traction of AWD. 8 sec is about the best you can do with FWD, 5 sec or less with RWD.
