Re: Did anyone see the "Lost" season finale

I thought it answered some questions from the first season, but in true "Lost" fashion opened the door to even more questions. At least we may now know what caused the plane to go down on the island. It will be interesting to see what the hatch looks like after the explosion, what will happen to michael and Walt,( didn't you think their boat was going to explode once they set sail?), and what will happen to Jack Kate and Sawyer. Also will Hurley make it back to their camp? A new door to questions was opened also by the mysterious phone call from another Dharma outpost to Desmond's old girlfriend.

I could be wrong, but I thought I caught the "Dharma" logo on the door just before they showed those guys. If you remember, there was supposed to be multiple outposts linked to the Dharma Initiative. They probably have them all over the world. There were at least 5 posts on the island. 1) the one that Locke blew the lid off, 2) the one Locke and Eko discovered with the tv screens, 3) the one that was set up like a hospital that held the pregnant one (can't recall her name at the moment,) 4) the one that the "tailies" (Ana Lucia, Eko, etc.) were holed up,and 5) the one which was guarded by the "others which supposedly held Walt. I think that was Libby who gave the boat to Desmond. The one at the end was a totally different character. She was supposed to be his girlfriend and her father held all the letters he wrote to her while he was in prison. When he got out her father tried to pay him off to never have contact with his daughter. He then wanted to win the boat race which was sponsored by her father, but in the process got shipwrecked on that island. You are led to believe at the end of the episode that his ex girlfriend may have had something to do with him being on the island. One really need to pay attention while watching Lost because of all the intertwining backstories, and use of visual cues. TV Guide had a story last year about all the clues from previous episodes. Some were the time when Kate went to see her father at the recruiting station and Sayid was on the tv in the background. Another was when they were showing the inside of Jin's house in Korea, and Hurley was on the tv with his lottery winnings story. And how Sawyer came into contact with Jack's father in Australia. Stuff like that sure keeps our minds busy.

Same here. Things DO happen too quickly sometimes, and I find myself relying on reading about it somewhere, or watching the episode again, or one of those shows they have every once in awhile that covers the past few episodes.
