Enquiry on 750iL suspension

Dear chaps,

I've just acquired a 1988 750iL make and the suspension has been converted to non-hydraulics but I'm experiencing very bumpy ride at high speed as though I'm on a boat ride. I've been adviced to go for harder shocks but would like to hear from you guys out there.

Would appreciate recommendations on the brands and costing, detail informations greatly welcome for someone who is still new to this lovely machine.
