this fukin sux

My engine is fukin up big time the fukin engine light comes on after like and hour of normal driving and smoke pours out of the exaust and the egnine smokes when i open the hood, the temp guage goes up past the red after like 10 min a driving in 1,2,3 its cool but as soon as i put it in 4th it goes up all the way, i smell antifreeze sometimes too, i replaced the thermostat, radiator hose and cleaned out and replaced the gaskets to the parts that hold the radiator hoses i dont know what their called, i dunno what it is, does anyone have an idea what it could be??

i dunno, didnt check that, i thought it had to do something with the radiator but maybe its that......thnx anyway

Check the hoses to th manifolds, heater hoses etc - even a pinhole in one will drain your system and cause it to overheat which will thin out your oil and start smoking. Pressure test the radiator to check for leaks. Worst case? Headgasket is gone. Ouch

the headgasket isn't too bad to replace. Get a manual and it will tell you hot to do all the torque specs and timing and everything. Alot yourself the better part of an afternoon to do it or pay someone some $$ to do it. But, DON'T keep driving it with the temperature the way it is.

I don't think a Head Gasket would be terribly hard to replace, it would just take a very long time.

Send the head out to a good machine shop that can give you a good turn around time, if your good you should be able to do the head gasket in a day....two if you take your time...
