air conditioning
On my Buick Century 2000 there is a passenger climate control. Whether this is in use or if just the regular A/C is on........the driver side vents blow out cold air and the passenger side is blowing out hot air.
. Anyone out there have any idea what may be going on in there?

Re: air conditioning
Welcome to AF.
Thats interesting. Normally it is the other way around. The driver's side will be hot and the passenger side will be cool. I'd recommend ensuring the refrigerant charge is good based on the ambient temperature. This can be checked at the low side port. It could just be low on R134a refrigerant due to a leak. Also, the dual climate control temperature is controlled by temperature actuators based on the temperature setting on the climate control unit. The passenger side one may not be working properly or there is a problem with the control unit.

Re: air conditioning
Thanks so much for the info. Bought the car in Jan. Within 2 weeks the air conditioner went on the fritz, the rear view mirror fell off, the drivers side window stopped working, the rear speakers started vibrating. It is a 2000 though.... guess those things are kinda expected.
