Now when we mentioned Fujimi kits, how good are they?
I have only one older Enthusiast kit from them and I'm not very sastisfied with it.

There new kits are up there with Tamiya IMO for parts fitting etc.
The kits are very simple and have good detail on the body and interior but do lack abit with the underneath as they seem to do most parts as one and in blocks. Sometimes they look out of scale, mainly there wheels are too small and look like pram wheels.... and there ride heights of cars are pretty big. The good thing though is the huge choice they offer

Fujimi's Entusiast kits are awesome! I tell you i would love it - fucking love it if they started making them again. Can you imagine a Skyline, Evo V, ITR or Silvia with the level of detail that went into those kits???
Just check out this Countach http://www.mc.megafit.net/~prost/hom...g/newpage1.htm

Fujimi can really skimp on detail. There instructions (in my experience) are rarely more than 3 pages, doublesided. Lots of parts are simplified, often there is no detail on the interior door panels. On my Fujimi Supra racecar, brake discs aren't included, the wheels are different from the ones in the picture, and the interior (besides rollcage) is that of a street Supra. Just a few examples...

the fit of the old fujimi kits really needs a lot of work. I'm finishing up the Ferrari f355 right now and the windows doesn't fit and the body panels do not fit either and from what I've been reading, they used the old ferrari 348tb (or something like that) chassis and interior parts. But they do have a great selection like primera man said. Who else can give you civic and integra type Rs?? Just a word of warning, avoid their kits with the shared chassis and interior parts. I'm still pissed off at their Lancer evolution III with a roof, chassis and interior from the evo 5!!!!!

I was just going to post a thread about this same Fujimi issue. Before building Tamiya (which is what I primarily look for nowadays), I built alot of AMT/ERTL, Revell, Monogram...etc... Since I have never been let down by Tamiya, I assumed another Asian company would offer the same level of detail and fit; so I went and bought Fujimis new CRX kit.
I mean...hmm...I was pretty disappointed because I shelled out $14 or so bucks (I am broke anyways) and the entire chassis and suspension is what? maybe 8 peices? I think CRX's are pretty pimp, so I'll finish it up as is and not worry about detailing. If I just want a nice lookin display model I guess I could go with Fujimi because they do offer the Type-R schtuff...but there's always that burning annoyance in the back of my head that begs for a lil' more detail then... metal straight axles?
