Ahhhh, let me be the first to say, "holy s**t that looks awesome!!!" Who makes this kit? I'll have to invest in a couple. Excellent job with the paint and the engine detail!

thanks guys, first off let me say this forum has got the slowest server in the universe!!! oh my god!!!!. Anyway. back to the important stuff. The paint is tamiya ts-49 bright red over tamiya white primer. No clear coat just lots of sanding and polishing. I use meguires high-tech yellow wax for a polishing compound and finish it off with zymol liquid car wax. I don't know why it works it just does. These kits are awsome if you can get your hands on them these days. It's a fujimi enthusiast series. 200 plus parts and thats before the photo-etch and wiring. The wheels were the biggest reason for holding off on this kit for so long ( about three years) because they had a satin finish on the entire wheel. Then along comes this genius w/ this stuff called alclad II chrome no less, and walah! chrome rims, painted spokes and chrome center covers. Just like its suppossed to be.
