93 740i Inside lights
I just got a 93 740i. Its real nice. The one problem I just got with it is non of the inside lights work. I checked all the fuses and they are fine. The clove box light and the vanity lights. The other wird thing is when the car is running and I try to turn one of the map lights on a message comes up saying the trunk is open. Does anyone have a clue!

Update
I was trouble shooting last night on the light problem. It seems that there is a switch or something that makes the lights come on when the door is open. I think that is not working. With the key on I can turn on the map lights in the back. The front ones do not come on. I checked the bulbs and they are fine. I rechecked all the fueses and no problem. The lights at the bottom of the doors and the main lights in front do not come on.

update
Found the problem incase someone else has the same problem. The fuse that was blown was under the back seat. Go figure.
